The Medieval Siege Society has over fifteen years experience staging re-enactment events, which is reflected in the  quality of our performances.  Our event organisers will work closely with you to ensure the event runs as successfully as possible and will design the best event for your venue.

Events usually take the form of a living history siege camp with various battles, events and displays running throughout the day.  The usual format is a morning skirmish with an afternoon battle and various military related displays running throughout the day including archery, gunnery, men at arms and arming of the knight.

The MSS works for some prestigious clients including:  The National Trust, English Heritage, The Royal Armouries, Hedingham Castle, The Royal Gunpowder Mills and Essex Country Parks .

The MSS is a member of NAReS - The National Association of Re-enactment Societies.
